Cello Babies Disco

disco-ball

Saturday 15th December
11am, 1pm, 2pm at The Harris Museum (Gallery)
Running time 30 – 40 minutes

For 0-2 year olds and their grown-ups

Come into a tiny world of sound; a world where your baby can feel the vibrations of the cello, dance in the light of the disco ball, listen to the trickling of water, the ticking of clocks and all the sounds we forget to hear.

A baby’s first experience of the world is the sounds they hear from the womb. Babies tune into the musicality of their parent’s voice and imitate what they see from the day they are born.
As a baby makes their first sounds they are taking their first steps towards talking.
This managed sensory environment allows babies and toddlers to tune in to the sounds around them, helping them communicate, explore, create and make sense of the world.
